CONGRATULATIONS!
You are planning a new life together. As you prepare for this great event you will be filled with many hectic moments and never ending details.
You will be anxious and full of anticipation. But once that day arrives your greatest joy will begin, measured by the serious preparations you have accomplished.
We, the staff at Our Lady of Hope, hope to help you to prepare for that first day of your life together. Marriage is a sacrament of the Church. It is a life full of love - only if you work together for it. You are preparing yourselves to be with one person for the rest of your lives through the good times and bad times.
Your love for one another must be a firm foundation based on faith and trust in yourself, in your spouse, and in God.This is one of the reasons why weddings are performed by a priest of the Church - but only after the couple and the priest have had the time to discuss what this great sacrament means.
We expect that there will be at least two interviews with the priest, one with the church organist, and one with the Church marriage coordinator. These guidelines has been designed to help you plan your wedding day.
We feel it will answer many questions and in turn may prompt some questions. Please remember we are available to answer any questions you may have.
